Role description
DHL Freight is one of the world’s leading road freight providers, offering high-quality services to B2B customers. The DHL Freight Switzerland Order-to-Cash team is focused on reducing Net Working Capital through minimizing overdue debt and protecting the P&L through minimizing the risk of bad debt. This role will involve managing the debt for a specific portfolio of customers and involvement in initiatives to improve the efficiency and performance of the team.
Main activities
Managing collection and dispute resolution activities for own portfolio of customers
Contacting customers to secure promises to pay in accordance with the DHL Freight collection treatment plan
Dealing with customer queries and disputes and liaising internally with other departments to find solutions
Capturing necessary information in the MA!N collections tool and managing follow-up activities according to clearly defined priorities
Participating in debt review meetings with internal stakeholders
Performing the necessary AR accounting to keep own portfolio of customer accounts in good order
Participating in process improvement projects
Periodic and ad hoc reporting on Accounts Receivable status
